School inspection data

Inspection ratings (Outstanding, Very Good, Good, Acceptable, Weak, Very Weak) and sub-ratings are sourced from KHDA (Knowledge and Human Development Authority) public inspection reports. Data reflects the most recently published KHDA annual cycle (2024/25).

SchoolWise covers all 226 Dubai private schools registered with KHDA. Of these, 209 schools have full sub-rating data; 17 schools have an overall rating only. 17 schools have not been rated in the most recent cycle.

Fee data

Fee schedules are sourced from KHDA approved fee data, which schools are required to submit annually. Fees are presented per grade band (Foundation through Grade 12) and include the most recent year-on-year percentage change.

Fees shown on SchoolWise are based on KHDA-approved figures and may not include additional charges (uniforms, books, activities, transport). Always verify the current fee schedule directly with the school before making enrollment decisions.

Nursery data

Nursery data is sourced from KHDA Early Childhood Center (ECC) registration records. SchoolWise lists all 260 KHDA-registered nurseries in Dubai with registration status, age range, learning approach, and location.

Nurseries do not receive formal KHDA inspection ratings in the same format as schools. Where available, ECC monitoring data is presented, but this varies by nursery.

Parent reviews

Reviews on SchoolWise are submitted directly by parents, carers, and former students. All reviews are anonymous — reviewer identity is never published. Reviews undergo AI-assisted moderation before publication to detect spam, fake reviews, and guideline violations.

Community scores (e.g. "4.8 / 5") are calculated from the average of verified, published reviews. Schools and nurseries can respond to reviews via their verified portal accounts. Responses are labelled clearly and do not affect the community score.

Data corrections

If you believe data on SchoolWise is incorrect — a wrong fee, an outdated rating, or an inaccurate school detail — please report an inaccuracy or email data@schoolwise.ae. We review all reports and aim to update data within 5 business days where corrections are verified.
